The Guide to Retirement

Do You Have a Plan?

How you plan on spending time during your golden years requires a secure financial plan to fund those retirement goals. How do you envision your retirement? Long days fishing? Lots of traveling? Spending more time with family? Starting a new hobby?

Dreaming about all the things you’ll do once you retire is fun, but if you don’t have a secure plan in place, you can say goodbye to all those dreams.

Unfortunately, the burden of retirement planning is falling on individuals more than ever before. Even if you have an employer-provided defined-benefit pension, will that be enough?

Learn how to create your retirement plan, or find out what might be missing from your current strategy during my email series The Guide to Retirement.

Meet Wilma Figueroa, the Facilitator of The Guide to Retirement

After spending 20 years in the army serving in the logistics arena. I spent the latter two years of my career transforming civilians to soldiers. Once I retired, I did not plan what I would do next. It went from having a daily mission to what seems like as if I had no mission at all. After leaving the military, I realized I didn’t have any direction in my life. The fact that I was a soldier became who I was, and because I was not being nurtured to my full potential, my identity was lost and my dreams were not pursued. So, I decided life coaching was what I wanted to do. As a Life Coach, I will help you define your unique path and live life to its fullest.
The word potential has a lot of power. It implies possibilities, and it unveils greatness. My mentor John C. Maxwell said it best; ” I am convinced that all people have potential. And in order to reach that potential, everyone needs "belief." Believe in yourself and everything is possible. In fact, this is just one of the simple yet profound principles that serve as a cornerstone of my prestigious Maxwell Leadership certification. I am licensed to deliver world class proven coaching, leadership training, communication and personal development strategies that are always certain to help a person grow in all areas of life.
